1. Data Collection & Processing

Fast Image Toolkit operates 100% locally within your web browser.

• Your images, photos, and files are NEVER uploaded to external servers or cloud services.
• All conversion, compression, and EXIF metadata stripping processes happen entirely on your local machine using standard browser Web APIs.

2. Storage & Permissions

• Local Storage (chrome.storage.local): Used solely to save your local settings (e.g., license status and processed file count counter).
• File System Access: Used strictly to read files from the folder you explicitly choose and write optimized files into the local Optimized_Images directory.

3. Third-Party Services

When activating a PRO License, the extension communicates directly with Gumroad API ([<https://api.gumroad.com>](<https://api.gumroad.com>)) via HTTPS to verify your license key. No personal image data is ever transmitted during this verification process.
